Visiting Europe

I find that Europe is much more friendly than the
United States. It sure is not true about the
English as I have spent vacations in London and
also rented a car and traveled to Wales and all
over southern England and treated like royalty
wherever I went. I can't speak for Ireland, but
just the countries where I went to which were
also Germany, Austria, and France.

Thanks for your response. I guess all the stereotypical things I've heard about the English are incorrect. I should've known, because the ones I have met in this country (whether residence or tourists) have been very nice and friendly. Like I said on my other post on this forum, there' s nice and rude people anywhere you go. I know some tourists can be pretty obnoxious and expect to be kissed up to (I use to work at a museum and I’m speaking from experience), so maybe those kinds of visitors bring it on themselves. But if you mind your manners and remember that you’re a guest you'll be treated better.
