I just wanted to say what a great job I think you have done with this website and forum! You truly have done an amazing job and deserve to be told so! Thanks for providing such an informative website and discussion forum and for protecting the real Billy the Kid history! Your website shows that you take great pride in telling Billy's story as factually as possible. Thanks and I look forward to some educational and fun discussions on here.
I second that motion! In the last year, I have learned so much from this website and webmaster. The spark was planted in my mind when I saw Young Guns, and when I discovered on this site the "History vs. Young Guns" section, the fire took off!!! I have been researching the BTK mystery since then. Thanks, webmaster.
Lucas, I could not agree more, this is such a "clean" site, everything is laid out so neatly (yes, i'm a Virgo!) plenty of interesting doors to enter, a wee surprise every so often leading to other avenues of searching & plenty of nice folk too boot. Since you brought the subject up in the first place, I will gladly take the opportunity to congratulate you on your own site, I use it a lot too. As with Marcelle, the care & attention you so obviously lavish upon your site is a credit both to you personaly and to the level of regard with which you hold the subject matter of the "Old West" in general & "The Kid" in particular.
Looking at the words "The Kid" I can't help but think of James Dean, Buddy Holly, Jimmy Hendrix, Abraham Lincoln, Stonewall Jackson, John Lennon, John Kennedy et all. I do not think that you have nessesarily to "die young" to "live forever" I guess you just have to do it at the right time, was "Bushy" really Billy? Did Butch survive Bolivia? Was Custer a bloody a self obsessed fool? to be honest, who really cares? The fact is that they and all the others you may care to name that would fit into this category all have one thing in common, as Shakespeare said (nearly) "Age shall not wither them, nor custon make stale" how fitting is that?
There I go again, sorry, back to the subject in hand, Lucas, Marcelle, keep you wicks trimmed and your matches handy.
Thank you all for your compliments and support -I’ll really do appreciate it! It makes all my hard work, time, and effort I put into my website worth while and I’ll continue to do my best.
Lucas, it’s so good to have you drop by. What a treat to see you post here –thank you. It’s been a while since you and I last chatted, so I hope all is well with you. Just to let everyone here know, Lucas and I go way back and it was actually Lucas Speer's Billy the Kid Website that inspired me to construct my own, as well as Lucas giving me some pointers on starting a site and providing me with Billy the Kid info. I also want to commend Lucas on a wonderful and informative Billy the Kid website. If no one here has visited yet, I highly recommend it.
Glad to have you join us Lucas.

Thanks for the welcome! I am glad to see that your site has become so successful. You definitely deserve it! Yes, we do go back a ways and it is sure good to talk to you again. Drop me an e-mail sometime if you get the time and feel like it. Thanks also to everyone who posted above for complimenting my website. Maybe before too long I will get to go back out to New Mexico and get some more updated pictures, info, etc. for my Billy the Kid Website. Thanks and I will try to stop by for some discussions here from time to time.
