With all this talk on the board about another Billy the Kid movie, I don't know if its realistic at this time, as I see it, both Young Guns are still pretty known and popular, and for that another Billy the Kid movie at this time may take away from the new movie if they ever make one soon. As for when they do decide to make one, I hope they entitle it "Billy the Kid" I'm surprised they haven't used that title more, its got to be one of the greatest titles.

As for historical accuracy, something I started with the discussion of (1994) Wyatt Earp. In my opinion I do know a lot of things about Wyatt Earp (maybe not a whole bunch but enough to comment on it) Wyatt Earp is as historically correct that you can make in a Hollywood movie. As for this primary discussion, Young Guns (again I do know a lot of stuff and facts about The Kid, enough to comment) And Young Guns is a very historically accurate Hollywood film *note I said Hollywood film. People you don't seem to understand movies, in other words, you cant have a complete historical film complete with facts, it wouldn't work that way for a movie. You mines well just make a documentry, or a docu-drama. When making a film you need it to appeal to this generation of eyes, so we can relate abit. It needs a certain theatricalness to it, the story keeps moving along quickly wheather its a long or short movie.

I for one praise the way they made Young Guns, the way they wanted it to be precieved, you cant make Hollywood movies in the way you people expect.

Another thing to clear up about Tombstone vs. Wyatt Earp, actually did you know Wyatt Earp was thought up first and was to be made and brought out first by Warner Bros. Actually Tombstone rushed their production and theatrical release, thus it killed any chance Wyatt Earp made at the Box Office.
