'The Kid' movie
Permalink Closed

I'm new on the big Billy the Kid legand stuff. And I wonder, which movie or book is the most realistic and most close to the facts. Cause I found some movies on the internet and they were just bad action movies

I mean: there's this version: Patt Garret & Billy the Kid, the kid in there seems to be 'n old guy (were did the maker of the movie missed the point about billy the KID???) Anyway it is a populair version because of Dylan involved but ít's not stick to the facts.

Which on is?

I know where your coming from.

I LOVE Young Guns and Chisum (It's a John Wayne movie ) but they are all historically inaccurate. But they sure make for good watching.

Bob Boze Bell wrote the book called The Illustrated Life and Times of Billy the Kid. The book accurate, and his artwork is wonderful. Go to www.truewestmagazine.com. I think it's on sale there.

Oké...

But which one of the all is the most realistic?

I don't like young guns at all, the guy doesn't look like 'The Kid' and he has this commercial wanne-bee macho charisma. Kid isn't like that...
