Perhaps. It depends on what is told of Billy. How much Truth is someone willing to put out there?

I would love another BTK movie.  But most of the stuff I would like to see in it has already been covered in Young Guns and Young Guns 2.  I would like to see a more historically accurate account of his life.  I would love to see it start out at the point that he kills Windy Cahill, and a more historically accurate fight at Blazer's mill, McSween's house, and Stinking Springs.

I say it's about time an accurate movie was made on Billy the Kid. There's almost 50 movies made on him and not one can be labeled as "accurate." I would like to see a movie showing Billy in his earlier life in Silver City and how he got his rough start when his mother died and his stepfather abandoned him and his brother. I would like to have the Lincoln County War explained better and show how corrupt it really was and also, the unfair trial of Billy the Kid.

This is just hearsay, but I heard a year ago or so, that Frederick Nolan was writing a script for a TV movie mini-series on Billy the Kid. It may not be true, but it would be great if it is.

Put the Truth out there, and I Will see it.

Also, do it as the Familia and his Descendants would want it done. This is what I say.

All I would ask is for the Truth of Billy's Life; Not some Made up stuff and more Legend. That has been done to death.

Managed to get hold of Gore Vidal's "Billy the Kid" the other day, very hard to find over here. Knowing what a fine writer Vidal is, I was expected something special. I should have taken into account the fact that his wonderful novel "Lincoln" was turned into such a poor movie.

Needless to say it was a disappointing experience on the whole, poor script, poor acting & with little regard to History. There were some good things in there though, the Cinematography was good as were the Locations, my favorite part though was the whole "photography" scene and the scenes afterwards with Billy wearing "that" outfit, and it just seemed to suit him, brought him to life somehow.

I should mention Wilford Brimley as Lew Wallace, an outstanding performance (as ever) All in all, worth a watch if you can pick it up cheaply.
