Very impressed with the site!

A quick question: Is there anyone who knows if it is possible to find tapes of the Tall Man series from the late '50s. I can barely remember it from when I was little, but I know I loved it and it began my lifelong interest in history, BTK, and the West.

I know Clu Gulager played Billy and the plot featured a sort of adversarial friendship between Garrett (Barry Sullivan played him) and Billy.

I wonder if they went into the Lew Wallace connection at all; would have been fascinating, especially since they were just making the Ben Hur movie at that time and Wallace, of course, wrote Ben Hur.

Would appreciate anything on this.

Anyway, I never saw this show when it was on TV, and this site provided lots of info about it, including summaries of just about all--if not all of the episodes. It didn't say anything about tapes being available.

Do you get the Western Channel? I wonder if it's possible to contact someone there to ask if they know the whereabouts of this show. It sounds like something they might like to air.

Yes, you can get many of the episodes of "The Tall Man." Write to StellyB@aol.com. HIs name is Jack and he has episodes of most of the old westerns.
