There is little to nothing known of Billy the Kid's private life. Supposedly -if the rumors are true- he was like Fonzi from Happy Days and had flings with several woman (that I have listed on my FAQ web page). It's hard to say if Billy indeed had a serious relationship with one of his sweethearts and with which girl; historians and biographers seem to think it was with Paulita Maxwell, but she would deny it till her dying day. As for "soiled doves," I have not come across any accounts, rumors, or evidence of Billy paying for a woman's favors, he already had plenty that would give it to him for free.

Were most of the women Billy had, including the names in the FAQ and what you've stated here, were the older then him? Do you know how old some of the ones you named? I suppose one would have to think they were older, if so by how much?

Also the women that gave it to him for 'free' were the actually whores? Or even common women that lived at home, daughters etc. or was it mostly just the kind of women in the saloon's etc.

I'm interested in knowing what kind of women? Also were they only whites, or any Mexicans or any other race?

Most were younger or the same age; I can't think of any off the top of my head that were older, if I find out I’ll let you know. Some of the ladies were Mexican, some were white and some were half and half, and none of them were prostitutes. By the way, do you mind if you use another word for prostitute than wh***, some folks -particularly the gals here- may find that term offensive. Thanks.
