One of my website visitors made me aware of this new Billy the Kid action figure from McFarlane Toys. As you can see this doll looks NOTHING like Billy the Kid! It's awful. It looks more like a character in the movie "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly."
By chance I checked out the Billy the Kid Outlaw Gang website and their not too happy about this action figure. They are upset that Billy the Kid is in the Six Faces of Madness series along with killers like Jack the Ripper, Vlad the Impaler, Elizabeth Bathory, Rasputin, & Attila the Hun. I can see their point, Billy the Kid is in NO WAY in the same league as these historical figures --John Wesley Hardin maybe, but Billy!

I agree, it sure is horrible and does not belong with those others. Anyone know if there is a good action figure of Billy about 9 inches tall? I found one 12 inches tall, but I'm looking for one for my Breyer horses.
Exactly! It's a nice looking "western badman" action figure, but in no way shape or form it's our Billy. I don't know what they were thinking when they designed that thing.
P.S. Just a heads up, I posted a message to everyone in the Small Talk forum.

I agree, it's not Billy the Kid in any way, alot of people don't understand the word THE KID! in his nickname, the paint him of as some tough broad cool dude. But Billy had a childishe look (why the hell you think he was called Kid!!)
