Here's my say on it:

First off,  I would like to know the background on that carpenter’s bench. Is that the actually one owned by that family in Albuquerque or did they pull out another bench from under their hats and claiming it to be the one? How can they even prove that’s Billy’s blood on that bench when they have nothing to compare it with? So by what grounds do they have to give that impression it's his blood? As for the washstand conclusion -doesn’t prove a thing. As for the courthouse, that bullet hole in the wall they claim Billy made when he shot at Bell is a complete fake. It was put there to give tourists something to gawk at. So how can they pull out bullet fragments from it? Also, that courthouse has had a lot of construction work done to it over the years, so I highly doubt that is the original staircase, walls, and flooring, so how could they find 123 year old blood on it and even say it’s J.W. Bell’s? Are they going to dig him up too for comparison?  Not only what they're implying in that article is irrelevant and they’re stating things as “fact” or discrediting history without proof.

It’s just more lame findings that the DNA investigators are pulling to get more cause to exhume Billy the Kid. A while back they even had testimony from someone who claimed –without a doubt- that when he was a boy Pat Garrett’s wife told him Pat did not kill Billy the Kid, but as it turned out, the year he said she told him this she had been long dead. They sure dropped that testimony out of their case pretty quick.

The hearing is just around the corner and they're coming up with everything under the sun to win their case, whether their findings are legit or not.
